Not everything gels - one piece is, in short, some guy jerking off in Death Valley - while another finds a gentleman bafflingly

I found out last week my girlfriend hadn't seen Kill Bill which made me inordinately excited...

You've probably seen it already but I was extremely impressed with Glengarry Glen Ross when I saw it last week. I never knew that Gil Gunderson wasn't a Simpsons original!!!!

I get to see my first Smith in August by way of Johnny Marr in Modest Mouse... so excited it hurts.

The Manics are playing at the same festival... how bad is the new album????!!!!!

Kill Bill was the first film me and Joss saw at the cinema together. Wonderful times! I was inordinately excited to discover she actually hadn't seen any Tarantinos. Ahh, those were some fun days.

Haven't seen GGR just yet, but hear nothing but glowing recommendations. It's been on 'high priority' for a while now.

Johnny Marr/Modest Mouse? *High five!*, as it were. You've heard the new album (or indeed, the one before)?

Haven't heard the new Manics album yet, like. I'll be giving it a shot, but I'm scared - Manics-heads over at TW are comparing it unfavourably to Lifeblood - and I thought Lifeblood was pretty God awful.

I did sing "A Design For Life" at karaoke a couple of weeks ago. Realised I couldn't hit the we don't talk ABOUT LOVE and sang most of it in a growly metal voice. Stank up the pub. I was thanked for "a very different rendition". Good times.
