Nice story! I didn't realize that Buffy and Dawn were so young here, so I was taken aback myself. It's nice to see Buff not be disregarded for her age. I also found it interesting that 17yo Buffy thinks of her 15yo self as young.

I've been dropping hints through the series. Dawn being proud of reading at an 8th grade level and losing Hank.

This series doesn't include Sunnydale in the girl's past so I'm creating it as I go. Buffy was an adventurous Freshman so think 14 and living 2 years in the Walking Dead'verse would age anyone pretty quick. ;)

I'm so glad to see more of your BtVS/Walking Dead fics! It was nice to see Dawn and especially Buffy tentatively accepting offers of friendship. I hope to see more of this series!

I've got a soft spot for this series. Plus it's fun to play in. :D The Summers girls deserve a little reprieve and Dawn really is a sucker for lost causes.
