Summary: This follows yesterday’s post (8/2/16). Xander makes a phone call.
Warnings: nope.
Timeline/Setting: For Buffy season seven never happened in this AU and this occurs a couple years after season six happened and this is occurring a couple of months after the end of the Avengers movie.
Author's notes(if any): It’s fanfic…. Cue hand waving for ages and dates of characters.
I got Gram’s box delivered. The guy I gave it to made me come with him to a big building and he left me in a big conference room. I feel like I’m in a movie and like the wall will roll up and show the big Stargate like on TV. I figured I would hand over the box and head out of town looking for a cheaper hotel room before found some place to stay the night.
Clint stopped outside the conference room next to Natasha. “Learn anything from Cap’s stray?”
“Did Coulson ever mention any theory’s of Peggy Carter having any children?”
“Not that he told to me. Jarvis’s is looking into this guy.”
“This guy brought me a box of things from Peg.” Steve said walking up holding a Stark Pad. “One letter said ‘Steve - read this one first’. So I read it. Peg explained some things and I’m convinced that man in there is my grandson.”
Stepping into the conference room he handed the tablet computer to Natasha.
Alexander Lavelle Harris. Birthdate:” Steve ignored the sounds of Clint and Natasha scuffling in the hallway to read the background Jarvis and gathered on Xander.
Xander watched Steve as he walked into the room. He reached into his walled and pulled out a photo. “She’s Peg to me. She saw me when I was a scrawny, determined, weakling.”
“She’s my Grandma. She loved me and taught me to stand up for the little guy and for myself. She let me have a sip of her tea when she visited. I miss her.” Xander said as he pulled a photo out of his wallet of a small boy with an older woman.
“When was the last time you saw her?” Steve asked watching Xander look at the photos.
“I was eight and just yelled at Cordelia for making fun of Willow. I brought Willow home because I knew she would like meeting Gram. That was the last time Gram visited. Mom never mentioned her after that.” Xander quietly said handing Steve his photo back.
“I’m supposed to visit her on Saturday. Want to come with me?” Steve offered wanting to see his love and his grandson in the same room.
The tears were kind of expected but the hug he received from Xander was another surprise.
