Ha! I love the title! It totally fits!

So, you know how I love Buffy in this and the fact that she's named her wolf Princess. I don't know who would be more mortified, her wolf or Bran if/when he finds out. :D Personally, I think Mercy would get a kick out of it.

It felt like such a Buffy thing to do to name her wolf Princess. It just popped into my head and stayed there. Mercy would snicker and then call Buffy nothing but Princess for a week.

It's really hard for me to choose one favorite part of this fic, because it's all so good, but I really love how you describe the relationship between Buffy and Princess, and how Buffy's managed to wall off the Slayer aspect of herself from the pack. I'm really, really intrigued now about those first few months when Buffy was adjusting and how she came to be in Adam's pack and her continued relationships with the Sunnydale crew. I'm also wondering how the Marrok is going to feel with this new revelation...

I'm glad you liked it, sweetie! In my other story I have the Slayer essence tainting the wolf so I wanted to go another route with this and the idea of the Slayer essence being so integrated with Buffy that it keeps the wolf separated from them was born. Princess and Buffy are closer to Charles and Brother Wolf which should make for an interesting conversation between them at some point.

I do intend to give the backstory as to how Buffy became part of Adam’s pack rather than one closer to home, but this bunny came to me while rereading the series and demanded to be written.
