Summary: Xander arrives in New York and goes to the address Darcy gave him.
Warnings: nope.
Timeline/Setting: This occurs about a year after day 1 when Xander and Darcy meet in an all night coffee shop in London. post series for Buffy and in Marvel post Thor the Dark World.
Author's notes(if any): nope. It’s fanfic…. Cue hand waving for ages and dates of characters.
Trusting that the cabbie took him to the correct address Xander got out of the cab and looked up at the Stark and Avengers Tower.
Stepping into the lobby Xander looked around for an elevator, as he walked toward it he pulled his cell phone out of his pocket. Walk into the elevator, knock on the back wall 3 times, and say Jarvis master of the elevator take me to the floor where the stargazer sleeps.
Surprised the elevator moved since he didn’t push any buttons Xander guessed there was some sort of voice activated control system. The doors opened and before he could step out or speak the unhappy looking man asked, “Who are you and what are you doing on the wrong elevator?”
“Xander and I’m following the directions my friend Darcy sent me unless someone got her phone and decided to prank me. She sent me an address and said to get in the elevator and say take me to the floor where the stargazer sleeps.”
The man stared at Xander long enough he eventually leaned against the elevator wall, sighed, and said “I was pranked and I’m at the wrong building?”
“No, you’re in the right building but she’s sleeping right now. She just got back from a trip and is still on some other time zone. We’re waiting for her to wake up before we start the party. Did she know you were coming?”
“Yeah. But I got in a day early and thought I’d surprise her so I got coffee on the way here. Who are you?” Xander said holding up the cup of coffee in his hand.
Seeing a green light show up on the back wall of the elevator Tony relaxed with Jarvis giving his quick answer to a search on information about the unexpected visitor who knew a code phrase to enter a residential floor of the tower. “I’m Tony and I work with Darcy and her boss. Come on, I think I can find some place for you to go until she wakes up.”
“Tony, if that place includes a bathroom with a shower because I just got in from London you might be my newest friend.”
“We can work something out. So how did you and Lewis meet?”
“In a coffee shop.”
“Oh, a couple of kids after my coffee stream beating heart.”
