Summary: An announcement is made at a party…

Timeline/Setting: After the Avengers, and after Chosen. All movies Post Avengers have not occurred, and wont.
Author's notes(if any): Last year I had some ficlets were Dawn married Steve and Buffy married Bruce. August 11-20 are planned to be in that same universe.
“Explain to me again why we’re here?” Steve asked Bruce as they stood near the entrance of the ballroom.
“Buffy said it was an anniversary of something important and it would be extremely insulting if they didn’t come.” Bruce explained as they watched the photographers take photos of people as they walked in.
“How are they going to get in since they gave us their invitations and we’re already inside?” Steve asked about to call Dawn and ask her.
“There they are. The photographers are acting like it’s Tony. What is going on?” Bruce wondered watching every camera clicking away at Buffy and Dawn.
That night in the hotel room as Dawn was showering Steve’s channel flipping stopped on a video of the girls walking in to the party. You heard it here first. Ladies Buffy and Dawn Summers have married. The say ‘we’ve never been happier and we married great guys’ when asked they said their husbands were named Steve and Bruce. Ladies Summers, I hope you have a great marriage
Arriving late enough after Tony and Pepper that happy was able to come back and give them a lift in the limo Steve, Dawn, Bruce, and Buffy shared a couple of pizza’s on the ride to the formal red carpet ‘Event of the year’ or so the invitation said.
With the divider down Dawn leaned over the seat to look out the front window. “Happy, there are a lot of photographers. Will you stay close in case we want to leave early?”
“Of course. Say the word and I’ll be there to pick you up.” Happy said as he pulled to the curb.
Steve climbed out first and held out a hand for Dawn to take when she stepped out. Bruce stood next to the car with his arm out for Buffy to slide her hand around his elbow.
The two couples waited for the photographers to pause before Steve spoke. “Dr. Banner and I want to announce that we both recently got married. This is my wife Dawn.”
“This is my wife Buffy. I haven’t been married long but I don’t think I could be any happier.” Bruce said as Buffy smiled at the cameras.
Later that night Clint was eating leftover Chinese food. He had forgotten Steve wasn’t home when he ordered and had plenty for a late night snack. Having had Jarvis pick the channel most likely to have coverage of the party the couples went to Clint hoped so see something interesting soon. Folks it looks like two of the Avengers are off the market and married. Captain Rogers and Dr. Banner arrived tonight each with a woman on their arm they introduced as their wife. At this time we don’t have any other information, but as soon as we find out anything we will let you know.
