Title: Home from Summer Camp

Summary: After her summer working with Dr. Foster Darcy comes home.

Timeline/Setting: After the movie Thor and after Chosen.

“Darcy! You’re home!”
Darcy dropped her large duffel bag and held out her arms not sure where the voice that hollered at her would be coming from. The force of her two younger twin sisters running into her knocked them down into a jumble of limbs and giggles. Her older brother laughed before dropping to join in the Lewis family reunion. The Lewis twins were potentials before the call went out and Michael had been studying mythology and when bringers had attacked the kids had banded together and fought eventually defending themselves. In June when Giles and Willow had found them their parents were in denial of what happened that night and had made home very unwelcoming for their kids. Giles didn’t have a physical building to welcome them to but he and Willow welcomed all four of them and the Lewis kids followed.
“It’s good to be home.” Darcy said not unwrapping her arms from any of her siblings. “If I go back to school I’ve got two weeks.”
“What do you mean if you go back?” Willow asked standing over the pile of giggling Lewis’s. “Weren’t you only a couple classes away from a degree?”
“Yes, but there was some difficulty this summer and I’m not sure if my six class credits will actually go through.” Darcy explained as she looked up at Willow.
“Giles was hoping you would get that degree and”
“Then he could put me to work talking to political big shots and use the degree as some sort of gold star. Would they rather have talk to Xander or the gal who actually has the degree?” Darcy said running her fingers through her sisters’ hair.
“You know?” Confused Willow asked.
“It’s what he said when we were talking about funding for college. Is he here? I was hoping I could talk to him today.” Darcy said as her brother pulled the three of them off the floor.
“He’s in a meeting with someone but after that he’s free.”
“We’ll wait outside his office for him. It’s good to be home Willow.”
Bryson was watching his sisters giggling as Sarah and Alley held Darcy between them and acted like weight lifters with Darcy as the weight. Since he was the only one facing the door to Giles’s office he saw Giles step frowning from the noise but when saw it was Darcy and her sisters he relaxed a bit and smiled. “Darcy you’re home.”
Alley and Sarah set her on her feet and Darcy moved to hug Giles as a suited man followed Giles out of the office.
“I pod thief!”
“Miss Lewis what are you doing here?” Giles’s afternoon appointment asked shocked at seeing Darcy at the headquarters of The New Council.
