An entirely different direction than the original story, but I can see now why Blair was so eager to see Buffy again if they'd watched each others back in that hell hole.

Of course I'm surprised Buffy didn't hunt down at least some of the councilors once she was 'strong' given their treatment of others. They might be human, but she wouldn't have to kill them... well... maybe a little. :)

Maybe karma was on Buffy's side and some of the student that died while she was fighting Lothos were the counselors from Hemery.
