Dragon Magnetism Xander/Charlie Weasley
A.N. I failed since I wasn't a member yet I couldn't post during the first two days here, don't think it will count but I did post them in my own journal and at twisting the hellmouth. I'll post them here now just because I want to post them were they should go but I know there is no back dating.
Day 1 Dragon Magnetism

A.N. So this is my first attempt to post on Livejournal since I wanted to take part in the august 2011 fic a day challenge , so if I'm doing anything wrong just let me know.

Sometimes Xander really hated his life and today was starting to be one of those times. He had been looking into some reports about some strange incidents with people seeing great big beasts of some sort and people waving sticks around. Nothing life threatening had happened so far and Giles had asked him to look into it to make sure it wouldn’t become something dangerous that they would have to deal with later on.
Turns out it had already been taken care of by other people with sticks…er wands. Some sort of illegal dragon smuggling/poaching operation. He wasn’t to sure on the details, only that involved honest to god dragons and Witches and Wizards that used wands. Willow was going to be pissed when she found out that there was a whole secret society of magic users that actually had schools for that sort of thing. Xander planned to be in a different country when she found out, maybe if he was lucky a portal would send him to a different dimension for a few days, giving her just enough time to calm down to rescue him.
Everything would have been fine too, if it hadn’t been for the fact that his demon magnetism thing he had going apparently worked on female dragons as well as female demons. So when he arrived to investigate, a rather large red dragon escaped from her handlers that had been in the process of trying to move her to a reserve and claimed him as hers, curling around him and nuzzling him occasionally. Luckily for him it was apparently a maternal claiming. Xander didn’t want to even think about it if it hadn’t been. So he had spent the last few hours with a dragon named Viper wrapped around him, that clawed and hissed at everyone that got to close.
“So this happen very often?” Xander asked the redheaded handler that stood as close to them as Viper would let him get without attacking.
“First I’ve seen. Most dragons don’t have much to do with humans and are more likely to attack them, not cuddle them.” Charlie looked the one-eyed man over appraisingly, “Your handling this pretty well, most would be panicking.”
Xander snorted and leaned back into Viper, causing her to give a grumbling purr, “This is par for the course for me. At least this time the dangerous female interested in me doesn’t actually want to kill me. With my history it’s no wonder I switched to men.”
Charlie smirked,” Is that so? Then how about when we get you free from Viper, you and me go get a few drinks.”
Xander grinned and nodded, perhaps today wasn’t a total loss after all, “sounds like a great idea.”
