Sounds like good things for everyone! This is really sweet. I love the idea of more dresses, and more of the family being able to recognize some of the damage still in the family. I wonder if Buffy may fall into a counselor roll in Aman. It wasn’t something I’d previously considered as an occupation for her non-Slaying time, but there’s definitely a need.

So - things don't go out of fashion but just sort of linger... or was the wardrobe full of other people's cast-offs that had gone out of fashion years ago?

I can see Carnastir and Anariel making her into quite the fashion icon over the next few years.

And Finno might be heading towards being her favourite grandfather after Grandfather and Haru.

I see fashion being just as cyclical in Aman as anywhere else, so if you hang onto things long enough, they come around again. So there's been a 'donate something for the kids until they can get their own' to stock Anariel, Elladan, and Elrohir's closets.

Anariel's about to unleash her inner fashionista! :)

I think she'd really have a difficult time picking a favorite. (There is a clear candidate for unfavorite, though.)

I like this chapter a lot. It's kind of nice to see someone take an interest in Earth concepts without immediately being horrified by the life she lived there (not that it hasn't happened, but we haven't seen it for a while). I also love the idea of Buffy being indulged by her fashion-minded uncle; she may not be interested in making clothing herself, but she could certainly be an influencer!

As Finno didn't get the same background on Earth the living Tirion relatives did, he's a lot more prepared to take it as it comes at him and has no reservations about it.

Buffy's about to have the time of her fashionable life - she doesn't have to worry about price tags and has an uncle who is happy to indulge her (even if that occasionally veers into trouble from the grandmother brigade territory.)

Yay, she's getting used to Gramps Finno, though I noticed a slip of "Uncle Finno" in there. Always takes a little time to adjust to name changes. Glad that they're getting along. I imagine that Anariel will have lots of fun talking fashions and getting a crash course in Tirion fashions and Gramps Finno will enjoy learning about California.

I agree that Grandpa Maitimo may need to see to believe, but a few others will too, including Gramps Finno.

She was still making up her mind about 'Gramps' at that point, and him taking a genuine interest in something that was a pretty formative part of her life sealed the deal. :)
