His showing up in the UK will most likely make Buffy suspicious, but I wanted to write this where he didn't know he was actually targeting the wrong half of the Watchers. Wish I knew more of the show or universe so I could use a different immortal, but it's been a really long time since I watched it.

So good to see this crossover. I love Methos as a deeply complex and highly intelligent character. He may have significantly underestimated Buffy and I’ll be curious to know what he does once he realises he’s targeted the wrong part of the Council. I hope you revisit it because if Methos and Buffy are only going to be friends then I’m voting for Connor or Duncan for her. ;)

I don't know that he's underestimating Buffy as much as he's operating under false assumptions about who she is. He has noticed her lack of tattoo, which probably denotes a different level of access or something for the immortal watchers.

We'll have to wait and see about more. Not quite sure what the plan was, it was just that scene that came to mind.

Fair enough. :) I really appreciate the gift of the scene, couldn’t help a lobby for a Buffy HEA somewhere along the way. Also, Highlander… I adored the original movie, did you know they’re looking to reboot it with Henry Cavill? I could happily imagine him as Connor, Duncan or Methos, I’m unfussy there.
