Look at you, posting so early today! I love all the family by-plays. I’m curious if Eöl got away before his wife got there. I really don’t think Irisse will let that slide. Her bonding with cousins is cute!

Yes, I wanted to get today's Fic a Day out of the way early as I've got two stories going for the Tolkien Reverse Summer Bang that need to be finished up. (One of which I just picked up as a pinch hit, so it's starting from zero.)

Eöl was getting away, and then Irissë showed up ready to go to war for him...

I’d love to hear how Nerdanel’s conversation with the twins went! Is poor Nolo just bound to have PTS at the mention of injuries or fighting?

Aw, bonding over food. Not surprised Gilrod tried to make a break for it before his father stopped him. He knows Anariel's adventures and misadventures as well as Nerwen.

Nice interaction with everyone. She'll probably need a bit more training on volume control if she's making people wince just by trying to be a little loud.

Wonder if Irisse stirred the pot again after Buffy gave them a break. I don't think she was happy about the telling off of her husband.

And enjoyed that the Els took refuge in Nerdanel's rooms. She seems to be the go-to grandma for shelter from other things.
