It's not that LA isn't big enough for both Spike and Angel, it's just not big enough for Spike, Angel, Angel's angst and Angel's attitude. ;) I get that Angel is more worried about his plans being disrupted and knowing exactly how much chaos Spike can cause, but still...

Like that they're settling in well enough.

I agree that Spike would enjoy racing, though I didn't ever think of it until you wrote it. It's got just enough danger to get his blood pumping, competition to satisfy his fight instinct, beating humans and no pain from the chip, not to mention the money he must win.

Buffy the Bunny, good to see she's well enough to see the humor in it. Sorry to see Hank such a jerk.

It's also only been a couple of years since Spike was unapologetically evil, which is a drop in the bucket to vampires, so kind of unavoidable that he and Angel would clash.

And yeah, the "live a quarter mile at a time" type existence seemed like a a really good fit for Spike. :) Glad you enjoyed!

Angel is always going to be a thorn in Spike's side, isn't he. Angel seems to think that he's the only vampire who could be "good". Spike 2.0 certainly proved him wrong.

To be fair, Spike doesn't have his soul in this timeline, and Angel wasn't there for him helping against Glory; it's only been a couple of years since Spike was unapologetically evil. This Spike will just have to find a different way to prove his potential. :)
