(I really need to read Hunger Games. Keep meaning to but haven't. I know the basics so I can follow this but I'm sure I miss some nuance.)

It's Spike, I don't think he can help it. It's a reflex...

(Read it when you get a chance - the movies were a decent adaptation, but I think movies in this case were doomed to miss a lot given how the books are told from Katniss' perspective, and that a recurring theme is what's for the cameras vs what's real, and later what's drug/torture/trauma-induced vs what's real.)

Poor Katniss indeed. Finally getting better, which means she's well enough to hear things are still a mess.

Poor Katniss. It's hard to see the big picture when you're in the middle of it. Good thing she has friends who are outside of the picture and can watch her back.

Dr. Aurelius. Still makes me smirk when I see it. Guess he needed a "family" name of some sort.
