over dinner last night i was telling my parents about the cool array of things a uk recruitment firm was offering yesterday to the graduating social work class (including reimbursal of airfares up to $800! after working for 6 months. and paying for membership in the BASW). and suddenly i realised even they thought i was crazy.

practicalities dictate i shan't be setting off til march though, anyhow. so pleased/relieved to know what i want though.

oh i'd love to come and will be there eventually! but I have no money now and am not convinced of my ability to a) find wellpaid work and b) be able to save for other travel whilst in such an expensive place as London. (I assume London? Or other places?)

will you still be there in late 2006? That's when I plan to arrive.

London yeah, cos that is where most of the work is. +i will be there in 2006, if all goes to plan and i don't prove to be crap at the whole social-work thing (or the whole, living cross the seas thing for that matter). 'tis a 2 year working holiday visa i'm getting.
