I was trying to get the whole fic finished (it is all nicely plotted out and the end is even written) but the muse deserted me. oracleholly suggested that I divide it up into chapters and post the first chapter now, and the rest as the muse decides to play nice and let me finish them... so here is Chapter 1 of If You Don't Love me...
