Egg Hunt In Tokyo Disneyland

May 22, 2016 01:25

Easter is a big event at Tokyo Disneyland, something I find sort of funny, seeing as Japan doesn't actually celebrate Easter. This year's Easter event started March 25th and is on until June 15th. Though, as we painfully learnt this Thursday, they stop restocking Easter merchandise at a certain point. Christian wanted a set of cute bunny ears for ( Read more... )

Oh wow what a fun entry, I looked at all the pics and spoilers because I can't possibly get there in time, and I know nothing about the park XD

It seems like such a fun thing to do though! especially if you've been to the park tons of times and you know it really well.

I've only been orienteering once, but all we had to find was wooden posts ^^;

This loks so fun. It reminds me of the Phineas and Ferb treasure hunt they have at Epcot which is brilliant.

How do you get to Disneyland? There doesn't seem to be a direct train there.

Ooh, I didn't know Epcot had a treasure thing as well! This Egg hunt was so well organised and executed, I'm really curious to learn more about similar events at the other parks. I'm especially curious to know if other parks offer different difficulties like this. There are so many repeat visitors to TDL, it's sort of a must, but I wonder if the US parks have the same amount of repeat visitors as here!

There are a bunch of different ways to get to Disneyland. Maihama is the train station, it's right next to Ikspiari, which is the Disney Resort mall placed between the two parks. Two train lines stop at this station, Keiyo and Musashino. Both go from Tokyo station.
There are also plenty of different bus routes going to the Resort, I took one once from Shinjuku, but train is way faster.

The Epcot one involves a mobile phone type device and is brilliant. There are Easter Egg hunts in different countries and you can do as many as you want. When you're done you drop the 'phone' off in a 'bin' and away you go! Lots of the hunts involve activating certain things as well. It's really great. We did the Norway one and this happened....

That was so much fun, following along with your pictures!
I never would have spotted the black egg!

Have you moved house yet?

That sounds like so much fun!!! I wonder if the Disney parks in the US do similar things...It just sounds like a great bonus to an already fun day at the park. Glad you were able to find the eggs and claim your medal! Thank you for sharing all the awesome photos!
