Derby Journal #14 - Let the Bruising Begin

Derby practice on Saturday was fun. There's only three weeks left until our minimum skills test now. I honestly don't think I'll be able to pass it, but that's okay. I had a patron in the library asking about that documentary! This must be where she heard about it. Her kids need to just get her Netflix LOL. They are in there all the time looking for stuff they have told her about and we don't have these obscure documentaries on random 70s bands.

...though now I kinda want to watch it!

And the Roller Derby theoretics continue to be fun!

Will you be working freelance from Japan too? I would imagine it to be frustrating to build a solid base of clients and then having to put it on hold while being abroad...

I think so, yeah. Unless it requires weird paperwork that'll be a hassle to get in order, but I doubt it. It would be nice to continue to take on projects from time to time to keep myself available to my clients and to keep a somewhat steady stream of income.
