I had to look up Langoliers, but from the descriptions and pictures it does look like there are horror elements to it, yeah!
I really enjoy horror films, everything from cheesy 70's-80's style slasher films to intense jump scare flicks. I prefer watching them at home, though, it takes a lot for me to go see a horror film at the cinema xD;
I don't do trick or treating, much less dressing up, so I can't really serve here. Horror films are also not that much up my alley, but a guy like Michael Meyers stuck with me... The one film that elicited pure horror from me as a viewer was "Sanctum", even though it's definitely not horror.

Ooooh Sanctum was really good! It has such a claustrophibic vibe, I remember I really enjoyed it 8D... which sounds a little off, but you know. :)
