I've been back in Norway for two weeks now (though last weekend was spent in Helsinki, meeting awesome people from the internets~), and since I have yet to get the ball rolling with freelance translation gigs, I'll write about roller derby instead.

I love the excitement that leaps off the screen from this entry! I think I mentioned it before that I have next to no idea about roller derby, other than two episodes of two TV shows, but it does sound like a cool and fun sport.

Thanks! I'm just excited in general lately. So many changes and new things all around me, I just can't help but feeling more excited than usual.
AND DON'T WORRY. I'll probably post a lot about derby the coming months, and some of it is bound to be about rules and what the game is all about. I need to be an NSO (non-skating official) at three scrimmages (practice games) to pass the course, and I need to really know all the rules to be able to do that well, so... I have some studying to do. The girls on the main team (who get to do scrimmages), are intidimating as fuck, so I'm really nervous about my NSO duties... XD;;;;
