Who watched the Golden Globes last night? I did, I did, I did~ Together with the fabulous shirenu and anko_kun.

The show was a bit hit and miss this year, I felt Tina and Amy could have done better, but there were some absolute gems in there, and it was a fun chaotic time. I always forget how hectic the Golden Globes are, there's not nearly enough time to get

Unlike Tina and Amy's weird North Korea themed jokes. Whut. - Yeahhhhhh. I didn't watch the show last night, but I saw a lot of controversy about it online.

Lololol "controversy". Well yeah, I guess. It seemed really forced, like, "oh, The Interview sort of blew up, let's copy parts of it, yeah???". It was odd.

I started crying during the Theory of Everything trailer so I know I have to watch that home...alone...with TISSUES!

I want to see Whiplash! I just found the trailer over the weekend and I was like WTF IS THIS?!? My brother loved 'Nightcrawler'. My friends who saw 'Imitation Game' said Cumberbatch and the rest of the cast are fantastic but the movie itself is just good (not amazing or fantastic, just good).

You know my thoughts on Birdman. Blaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Same! Though I hear it's not as bad as the trailer makes it out to be.

I haven't even seen the trailer, I've just seen the clips during the Golden Globes, but that was enough to make me interested. Same with Nightcrawler (though Gyllenhaal is a huge plus as well).

I missed the Golden Globes this year! :/ Tina and Amy are usually so delightful together, too, so I'm bummed (but not bummed enough to watch it after the fact).

I am OBSESSED with Amal Almuddin. She is so amazing.

I really loved The Normal Heart - one of the few times I appreciated the film version even more than the stage version :)

Boyhood I couldn't care less about, also the word boyhood just weirds me out, it doesn't feel like it's a real word, when childhood is totally fine! Birdman kind of interested me, the film critics have been going crazy for it, but everyone I know that's seen it doesn't like it... who to trust?!
I still need to see The Hobbit 5: Bilbo Does Something and Interstellar hopefully before they aren't in cinemas anymore.

I've been wanting to get a cinema card too, so I can see tons more movies rather than my usual couple a year, maybe for my birthday!
