My mum's new flat looks amazing now that all the furniture is in place. I like it a lot better than the one she's moving out of. It feels a little crowded right now, she needs to get rid of a lot of excess baggage (both figuratively and literally), but it'll get done with a little perseverance and patience ( Read more... )

Probably not watching the Golden Globes. I'm not really into awards shows. Unless I'm up for one. Actually, scratch that. I'm definitely not into awards shows.

I've just had a look at the Golden Globe nominations and they seem pretty solid going on what films I've seen. The animated film category is an amazing set!

I looked up the nominations last night, but apart from seeing that True Detective was up for a bunch of stuff (YAY even though Matthew Mccoasdfklsknga,dgnhey makes ATROCIOUS acceptance speeches! XDDD), and that Birdman had some nomns, I don't remember any of them? And as usual, I haven't seen many of the films that are nominated. I tend to use the Golden Globes to pick out the films I need to watch before the Oscars XDDDDD

Matthew McConaughey is quite a dull man isn't he? He's been on the Graham Norton show a few times and he's really serious!

I'm not sure "dull" is the right word here. I've read some interviews where he comes across as completely batshit crazy (or stoned, or a combination). He's... fascinating, but bad at public speaking. Or something. Who knows 8D I love his acting, though.
