I personally find Hart very unlikable, but I'm not sure if that's the shows intent or of it's caused by personal bias.
I've been watching and while I love the show, I can't stand Hart. He blames everything on everyone but himself. I like Rust a lot more and find him to be just a more original character in general.
Unrelated to my personal opinions on this, I made my boyfriend (obsessed with the show) a Valentine's card with a horrible cartoon depicting "True Dog-Tective" (it was like this tumblr but with cartoon dogs, cause I suck at drawing). :D
Honestly I watched the first two episodes and aside from the acting wasn't that impressed, it was like Oscar baity #whitemanproblems featuring a dislikeable cheater cop and a "modern Sherlock" (aka super intelligent guy that has shitty social skills).
But then I heard that episode 4 had one of the greatest final 10 or so minutes of television history ever, and Stryfe confirmed it, so I caught up and ugh I DO LIKE THE SHOW NOW -_- Damnit. To be fair it grew to be more than I first anticipated.
I'm still not IN LOVE with it like Stryfe is, but it is really well done.
