I've had the feeling lately that I don't have any hobbies anymore. I guess this isn't actually true, but it still feels like something is missing. I think part of the problem is that I have so many interests that it's difficult to pick one to devote my time to. So I spread myself too thin, and I end up doing mostly nothing ( Read more... )

What games are you into? I might know some communities.

Photography, you just start taking pictures and try to get good angles and lighting and all that.

If you want to do art, seize the energy while you have it and do it!

It's probably easier to list the games I'm not into, but okay. I play table top RPGs (mostly Pathfinder and recently also various Warhammer 40k games), board games (Ticket to Ride, Survive, and BattleLore are some of my favourites), and then of course video games. I mostly play on my WiiU and 3DS now, but I also own a PS3 and Xbox 360. The SNES will forever be my favourite console :P I don't do PC gaming.

I need to get some art supplies~

Photography sounds like a good hobby to me :) You should give art a chance while you still can :D

Riget is so weird and awesome. Great choice for the first movie visit of the year! I'll most likely start this year with Hundraåringen som klev ut genom fönstret och försvann, haha.

Maybe putting some of those things, like scanning the photos on your habitrpg lists would help you get started on them?

Scanning pictures was one of the first things I put into HabitRPG - it's in the to-do category, though, but it's a big one xD

Problem with sitting down and figuring things out, is that I ned up spending all of my time doing that. And then spreading myself too thin again 8D;

I think photography will be my main focus, starting with getting the scanning going. I could combine this with a programming project, I need a place to dump all my pictures anyway. :) Then once the outside temperature allows, I can venture outside and work on my actual photography!
