The first time I saw this graphic, I actually felt a little offended. It made it seem like people are only happy as long as they have access to other people who will "serve" them or help them achieve something in some way. But then I started thinking about it, and realised that it could be taken to mean something slightly different. I try to live by this, no use in dwelling on things that bring me down, etc. :)
You're not gonna get rid of me that easy. ;) I read all of your entries - even the gaming ones - though I don't always comment. I really like your attitude to life in general and I love reading about cultural differences Norway/Japan - it makes me feel less alone for not feeling entirely at home in my own country either.
I have no clue if it is an actual quote. I've seen this around the Internet in various places, but there's never a real source attached to it. I didn't agree with it at first, but I've come to love my own interpretation of it :)
