The rain woke me up at 7am. That's not something you generally want to happen, especially not when you know you'll be spending the day at an outdoors music festival

Ah yes, Laleh is all the rage over here in Sweden :P. She is pretty damn adorable. Please don't gobble her up :O I've never heard of Kaizers Orchestra, is this bad?
They've never done well in Sweden, so that's okay :P It's a rattly 6 man band that plays ompa-rock. They sing in Norwegian - though it often sounds more like Swedish due to the vocalist's dialect.
I never know what to link in order to present Kaizers properly. They just celebrated their 10 year anniversary, and there are just TOO MANY SONGS for me to be able to pick one that represents them well. They are also all about the live shows. I've never seen such energy or audience participation, it's magical every time.
So here, the song that first caught my interest, their very first single off of their first album. Low budget video and all;
That was a slightly creepy but also very cool music video! You're right, at times the guy has a super Swedish accent haha. I'll have to make sure to check out some more of their stuff :D I actually had to google what ompa-rock was; I just kinda imagined a band om oompa-loompas. Seems like an interesting little genre :)

It's kind of... different from their other stuff, but I love it so.
The dialect is from Bryne, near Stavanger at the western coast of Norway! xD; My mum can not understand what he's saying at all, I find it hilarious.
