I like to cook, I don't get to do it all that often, but I enjoy it a lot. I think I'm okay at it, at least I've never had to throw away anything I've made, so I take that as a good sign

See, all those measurements make sense to me, but we're stubborn and don't want to convert over to the metric system. Now THAT doesn't make any sense to me XD
Hah! But like kurisu said below, I've got tons of cups, but none of them are the same size! It just seems like such a random measurement to me. At least with the metric, all the measurements relate to each other. I'd explain it in some cute simple way if I could, but I'm terrible with numbers and math related stuff, so I can't 8D But this stuff is a lot easier for me to understand (just mathematically speaking) than the American system, which insists on using fractions all the time. What is up with that? 3/4 cup? How do you measure that, exactly?
Nice new layout! I wish I'd be able to actually enjoy cooking. It'd be helpful to get a grip on the nutrition issues, I figure. Unfortunately cooking is just a necessary evil for me...
