I feel like I bought a lot of stuff today. First of all I bought something I've been meaning to buy for ages. I want to get some training in reading and translating Japanese, so I ordered a couple of volumes of untranslated manga (for children) from yesasia. Suddenly not having to save up for a summer holiday in Tokyo has made me relax my saving of money a little xDDD;;

Final Fantasy Tactics (PS) is one of the best games ever. :3

I've only played the GBA version. I have to say that I didn't like it much :/ I thought I'd love it, because I do like tactical rpgs, but Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (as the full title goes) had just.. too much tactics and thinking and not enough plot or.. other things to keep me interested. It was also difficult and some of the fights could last for hours and blaaaaah. I don't know why I still have the game. I should sell it or trade it in for something else.. or something. @_@;

Children of Mana on the other hand reminds me a bit of FF Tactics in the sense that they have missions you can buy and do if you like. You earn rewards and yesh. That's fun. I think I'll probably post more about Children of Mana later, if not here then certainly in ds_wii.

I've also got Children of mMna but not played it yet as I picked Contact to start first instead. I'll get there eventually but I'm quite "behind" with my gaming at the moment. :/

Children of Mana is great. It may perhaps feel a bit repetitive and shallow, but I'm 6 and a half hours in and still loving it.. so yay. I'm really glad I bought it :D

Yeah I'm looking forward to playing it but also looking forward to Magical Starsign too. :P Meh! Why can't I have more gaming time?

Still we'll see, I might get past the boss I'm stuck on in Contac yet but I'm not holding my breath. :P

Children of mana is part of the 'seiken densetsu' series, and a sequel of sorts to secret of mana on the snes (one of the best RPGs ever!) i doubt its up to that standard though, but the multiplayer coop link up should be really good!

I also did a lot of impulse buying last week: PS2 (my first!) w/ dragon quest 8, kingdom hearts 1&2, FFX, shadow of the collosus, Baldurs gate 2 for PC and hope to get dirge of cerebrus soon xD

Yeah.. I actually had Secret of Mana for the SNES for a very short time. I got stuck and traded it in. A lot of people will call me crazy because of doing that, but I traded it in and got Terranigma instead. Terranigma turned into the perfect choice and is still my favourite game ever so.. I don't regret doing that at all xDD

Children of Mana is just.. fun. Not too complicated and not too easy. It is perhaps a bit repetitive and shallow, but doesn't stop me from having fun with it.

Kingdom Hearts! :D I haven't played the second one (our PS2 is dead), but the first one is excellent!
