I love Bearclaw! And I love how Bella barely grieves about Wardo for a minute before wondering if Jacob is available. (Also, I laughed when Bella complained about Bearclaw's shoulder being rock-hard...after all, her former boyfriend felt as if he was made of marble! Nice shot, that.)

I just love to write about Bearclaw - he is one of my oldest characters. Kind of a jerk at times, but at his very core, he is sort of a good guy.

I couldn't just help myself with that last remark. I felt this needed some kind of comic relief. Pretty much that's why Bella also complained about Bearclaw's shoulder being so hard. I mean, when it's Ed who wants to kill her, she doesn't mind, but it's suddenly all so bad if the one who wants to murder her is someone else. So I figured that in Bellaverse, only Wardo or other Cullens are excused while she wails about the other, not so pretty people, who seem to possess similar qualities.

Thanks! The guy has taken down more formidable things than some sparkly teenager, so I'd imagine he would have fun if he got to meet the rest of the family (and many thanks to you - now I want to write exactly that!).

Hugh Jackman as Bearclaw? Well, that's something I haven't thought about! I think good Mr Jackman is a bit too good-looking to be Bearclaw. : D
