I refuse to use Chrome because I hate Google with the fury of a thousand fires and all the data they collect and store for the next billion years. I use their products as little as humanly possible. I also hate Firefox because every new update has my browser crashing 7+ times AN HOUR for the first week or so. Does anyone actually still use IE?

Anyway, G told me about the open-source form of Chrome that is NOT controlled by Google. I need to look into it (I don't remember the name offhand). For now, I'm gritting my teeth and swearing at Firefox in every crash report...

I think they all collect data and google happens to have gotten more press about it. Yes, they are better at it for the time being, too, but they are better at a lot of things.

I have to use IE for some work applications and it drives me BATTY. The combination of IE9 and Windows 7 on my new laptop is the worst thing EVER.

I actually don't like Chrome. I do still use Firefox and don't have many problems with it.

Firefox got weird on me. I generally leave a bazillion tabs open for days and days. And Firefox started creating a bunch of processes for itself until it was using up 100% of the CPU all the time, and the computer would spin and spin and get really hot, and then Firefox would crash. I don't know if it still does that or if it got fixed. I haven't been back to check. I did love my Firefox extensions though.

What don't you like about Chrome?
