WOW. Oliver's thoughts completely mirrored my own. creepy. it's one thing to kill one of them twins. but then to not even give them the proper nonsense with the other twin that we all wanted? sdfklhjkdfg BAD ROWLING BAD.

this broke my heart. really did. especially the ending. and now I'm all miffed again over Fred's demise.

Exactly. This sort of shit happens in RL, but novels are not RL and therefore can and should take the time to look at reactions, thoughts, feelings, consequences, et al. And at the end of the day, things don't HAVE to go the worst way, unless the author is simply wanting to be, well, cruel or go for shock-value or something. I dunno. *sigh*

I think it's a little funny that the "Rocks Fall, Everybody Dies" joke that was going around turned out to be pretty much exactly how much gravitas JKR really DID give to her characters. I can't say I really understand her, as a writer, right now.

Oh I love this, your Oliver is perfect. I also really loved that the first thing Oliver does is call his brother. That was really the meanest thing she could do; kill both if you have to, don't leave one all alone! I hope you think about writing a sequel, to see what James' reaction is. ♥ Thank you.
