[Action - anytime from the 11th to 16th]

[You know what's hard? EATING. Ling has a bad habit of, you know, not doing that sometimes. The arrival of Greed's old gang, Ed coming out of a coma, and the various other odd and unusual things have led Ling to, quite unfortunately, skipping meals. And when he does that, he crashes hard. Which is why ( Read more... )

[Guess who has just been BAKING, Ling? There are wonderful odors of muffins and cookies wafting down from the topmost floor of Building 7. Eventually, there is also a girl making her way down from that top floor, but not in the usual way. With a leap and a rather loud whoop, Rapunzel launches herself from the window down to the ground below, using her hair to rappel the distance. She has a bag full of very good smelling things over her shoulder, which she intends to deliver to the bakery.

Because clearly the bakery needs more stuff.]

[THAT IS AMAZING.

Too bad Ling missed all of it, since he's lying face down in the dirt, not far from where she lands.]

[Luckily, Rapunzel is a good-hearted girl and when she sees the prone Ling, she hurries over to investigate.

Once she gets close enough she will poke him with her toe.]

Uh...Ling? Ling?! Are you alright?

[No, no he isn't. He keeps having people stick their feet on him, while he lies here DYING. Or hungry.]

Hungry...

They need to be an adult. I think it's best if they know each other for a long time.

Some places allow marrying more than one person, but... I think if you love someone enough for that, you should love only them that way.

That seems like a nice thought.

I know... If I love someone, I don't really want to share them. It's selfish of me, and I get jealous.

But I think a lot of people are like that.

It really doesn't answer my question, though. I wasn't really asking about love.

[Yeah, one of your henchmen his prodding Ling in the side with his foot.]

What the hell.

[This can't possibly be the bossman.]

[No movement here. Just lying on the ground, possibly dead. Except for that groaning stomach.]

[Can stomachs growl after someone's dead? :|a

HM. How about he nudges just a bit harder.]

What's up with you, huh? ... Boss? Xingese kid?

[Well that kind of hurts, but he doesn't move. Just sort of lets out a groan that's hard to make out but sounds like:]

Hungry....

I guess it depends on where you're from.

[This is on her mind right now, okay?

...and she's just going to ignore that last bit.]

...and why would you want to know about how many wives are 'too many?' Isn't the whole point of getting married to be with the one person you really want to be with?

[...or not.]

Well there's also the matter of heirs.

[Heirs is a matter she is familiar with.]

But there can only be one heir who actually inherits.

[...so your point is?]

But who's to say which one that will be?

[Well look who's noticed Greed creeping on places when she comes back from a walk around the village, trying to get a feel for the place.]

You always creep around houses like this, boss? Or is this a new thing to go with the new body?

[action] twinnedavarice July 14 2011, 02:50:13 UTC
Ehh? [He turns back and looks vaguely annoyed at the accusation. Just because Ling is a creeper, doesn't mean he is.]

There's a difference in creeping and making sure houses are empty. I can't exactly stay in that tiny apartment forever, can I? That's just way too small for someone like me.

[She grins a bit at that]

I bet a mansion would be too small for you after a while.

I'd say a castle would be a good place to start. [But beggars can't be choosers. And there are no castles in Luceti.]
