Are you sure that you're sure you're sure?

New computer has been mercifully problemless so far. It's running Vista, so everything looks wrong and I haven't got it all figured out yet, but I disabled the UAC and a bunch of other stuff so it no longer asks me if I want to allow everything ( Read more... )

I totally can't do the NaNo thing either, because I am so slooooow, but I really like the idea of just... doing something that gets me to at least start writing. I just haven't worked out what would be good motivation, yet. Or time.

What are you working on? And OH MAN asking that made me realize I never made any requests/suggestions. Lemme go check that post you made. I would really be interest in seeing some Life on Mars fic from you with any sort of Sam and Gene interaction but I can imagine that would be an incredibly hard series to write 'case off the crazy Manchesterness. The WIPs right now are two original bits featuring Jade and Okame (those actually might end up as just one, but for now I'm counting them as two), yet another "GT" offshoot that seemed like a good idea at 9 pm after a very long day (well, to be fair, I think that's how all of the other offshoots started, too) but has since gone nowhere very quickly, three of the ten-or-so story ideas relating to FFXI that ineptmagicuser requested, and one Transformers piece that isn't new but that I've picked up and started working on again.

Yay! I will add those to my list of prompts to poke around with! (I am possibly the worst prompt giver in all of existence, because I am awful at coming up with non-original universes related ideas, but because I am awful at coming up with anything on my own, those should be enough for me to try and build something off of. I can build off things decently enough, I think?) I am afraid if I ever try to write Gene Hunt that he will somehow kill my mind, though. Awesome! Brain death ( ... )
