Ooh, I had one answer, but then thought about it again and realized it was wrong. Hmm. This is actually really hard, because my brother and I kept all the Genesis stuff all in one area and didn't pay much attention to what belonged to who. And also it was a while ago and my memory sucks, and I can't remember for sure exactly what I bought, what we bought together, and what I picked out but did not pay for. I've narrowed it down to two, though!
The one that seems more likely is the original Sonic the Hedgehog. I know that game was "mine" (Sonic 3 was my brother's), but I can't say for certain whether I bought it or if it was a gift. I think I bought it? But not sure! Sooo, just in case. The other one it might have been was the game adaptation of The Lion King. I remember picking that out, but, again, I can't remember for sure if I paid for it or not. Also, I am pretty sure we got this game after we got Sonic.
I'M GONNA SAY IT WAS SONIC.
And also that it really frustrated us at first 'cause he gets the spindash in the second game and, of course, that was what we were used to, so we kept trying to perform it and just ducking and then jumping. ALSO the special stages were a pain in the ass. But it was still awesome!

I'm going to try to make one of these every day. Due to my tendency to lose track of midnight, though, there may be the occasional two posts in one day and none on another. Not that that is really important? Meh.
