Town Maintenance. Eric had no idea what kind of insanity his head had concocted. He was having drinks and chilling in the single scene one second, facing some crazy middle age man the next

Fiona was startled from her thoughts by a voice she'd never heard before. Not that that was really surprising, seeing as she hadn't met most of the patrons of Peaksville, but it still put her on her guard. Trying to appear pleasant and casual, she turned towards the voice and found a very nice looking man. Her smile became a bit easier. She still had no idea who he was, but it couldn't hurt to flirt.
"Town Maintenance? Hmm, well, I'd guess something like making sure there's not graffiti in the park and things like that, but I'm really just guessing." She put on her best innocent smile (which was pretty damn good) and kept her eyes open. It was hard to tell on first glance who around here was like her, and who worked for West.
"Don't suppose you've seen any flower shops around? Or any flowers at all? I'm still trying to figure out what my job is. Oh, and I'm Fiona, by the way. Nice to meet you Eric." She smiled again, notching up the flirtation. She often found it was easier to read a man when they were distracted by female prowess.
She was attractive physically as well as how she carried herself. In fact, her flirting was very well controlled and he couldn't help but think of Calleigh. But the likelihood that the woman in front of him knew anything about ballistics and enjoyed firearms to the extent that the southern belle did... Eric needed to stay away from crazy.
Flowers. Nothing he really knew much about. Neither did he know anything about removing graffiti--was there even graffiti at this day and age? The coveralls were comfortable enough. He would walk around and try to figure this place out. "Well, if there's a park then it's gotta have flowers. Guess we can both take a look."
His eyes had openly roamed over Fiona but refrained from staying at an inappropriate location on her body and finally locked on her eyes. There was no wedding band. She seemed interested. Suddenly this entire experience didn't seem so bad. "And the pleasure is all mine," he ended, holding her hand a little longer than he probably should have.
Fiona narrowly kept herself from smirking as Eric obviously checked her out. She definitely wasn't getting a creepy, works for West kind of vibe off of this guy, and really Fiona liked to think that she was pretty good at reading people. She wasn't about to let her guard down yet, but at this point Eric seemed a bit more like a player than creepy weirdo from Peaksville.
With a casual smile, she nodded. "Sure, sounds like as good a place to start as any. Honestly, I'm still kinda hoping for a flower shop. The weather here is too unpredictable for me to want to work outside all the time."
"I've come across two parks here. Well, if you count the trees in the town square as a park. There's another one further into town that has a playground. Maybe the swings need fixing." She shrugged and gave him a bit more of a flirtatious smile before turning and walking confidently towards the park she'd once taken Anthony to.
lol, You remember Gloria??? She tried offing Marisol. I'm pretty sure Fi wouldn't do that. :Pcsi_eric_delkoMarch 16 2011, 02:34:41 UTC
She didn't know what to do with kids. Eric found this more amusing than Fiona probably meant it to be, if she meant any amusement by it at all. While he was the baby, Eric also had a few nieces and a nephew. He hoped to have a family himself one day. Well, that had been the plan once he found the right girl. His ex through those plans to a screeching halt

You're talking like I actually managed to steadily watch Miami. I have no idea who Gloria is! LOL!irish_bombshellMarch 17 2011, 03:22:22 UTC
Fiona looked thoughtful for a moment, considering Eric's explanation over the possible stocking of her new job. "That would make sense," she agreed. "Strange how easily your sense of logic can change around here. A month ago if someone had suggested to me that a store could stock itself, I would've thought they were absolutely mad." She let out a small huff of laughter and shook her head.
Looking around, Fiona started checking out just exactly what she had when she noticed that Eric was suddenly quiet. She looked up at him and frowned. She didn't know him nearly well enough to read him, but it was fairly obvious that he was suddenly upset about something. "What's wrong?"
Marisol! Eric's sister who married *dry heaves* H. Gloria tried offing her out of jealousy over Ericcsi_eric_delkoMarch 18 2011, 11:25:40 UTC
A month ago, if he would've suggested that, Eric would have had another meeting with the department psychologist. He didn't have those worries in this dream. Or whatever this was. He wondered if he was expected to fight and escape. He didn't worry with that now. His worry was his watch.
"I just realized that I don't have my watch," he looked up with his own frown in place. "It's never missing. I know I had it when I was having drinks but I can't remember having it since arriving here. It's a divers watch. Means a lot to me."
I know Marsol, not Gloria. Why off Marisol over Eric? She was with H, not Eric! OFF H!irish_bombshellMarch 19 2011, 03:26:39 UTC
A frown crossed Fiona's face when Eric spoke. She started thinking back, trying to remember if she was missing anything important from when she arrived here. Nothing came to mind. She hadn't heard any word about anyone else missing anything either. Watches didn't just fall off your wrist either though.
"That's odd," she said. It wasn't just odd, it felt like it might be odd for Peaksville, and that certainly didn't sit right with Fi. "Did West mention it at all during your meeting? I haven't heard of anyone else losing anything here, but I don't know how many people had something sentimental they always had on them either, and I certainly haven't spoken with everyone here. Still, seems like something West would do, to mess with you."
