Eight year old Ziva was perhaps a tad more world-wary than young Jim, but she was no less curious. It had been odd to wake up and find find herself in this strange place. This strange, cold place. It had been quite a shock to go to the winow and see snow. A lot of snow. She had seen snow before, of course, but never so much and she had stared in wonder at this white washed world before grabbing the coat that hung handily on the back of a chair and racing outside.

She had yet to look back.

She was a ways from the house now, but she did not worry about that. She had an excellent sense of direction and knew she would find her way back eventually. Just not now, not when she caught sight of a park just ahead. She ran towards it, noticing from a few yards away that there was another kid there already.

"Hello," she said, stopping a few feet from him, breathing quickly from the run, delighted at the way her breath formed white puffs in the air.

Jim grinned at her. More people! And people his age--this was fun.

"Hi!" he greeted, chirpily. "Are you lost, too?"

Strangely, he didn't seem upset by the issue, just curious.

Seven and a half year old Jimmy Wilson woke up confused. This was not his room. First of all, his Captain Kangaroo poster was not on his wall, and even more disconcerting, his Scooby Doo plush toy that he slept with every night was most certainly not with him ( ... )

"Jimmy's for little kids," Jim said, knowing of what he spoke. "I'm Jim."

But he dropped down next to Jimmy anyway, because the more snow angels, the better. Always.
