It happened again. I've been debating on writing anything here because I don't want to upset anyone who might read it, but I can't just sit back and not do anything. I've been given the power to see into the future, or so it would seem and it's scaring the hell out of me ( Read more... )

Well if you're right, and it's true, my vote would be to risk the buildings that are here. I know they move around in the night, but it's worth a shot.

I wish I knew what he was doing. It doesn't make any sense.

I agree with Jim, we should look at out buildings. I think some of the shops have flats over them as well.

Has anyone ever tried the buildings before? I mean, what happens to the stuff inside when the buildings move? How do we know we'd get hurt or worse if we're in them when they move? Maybe you just leave the next day from a different location? What do we actually know other than they move around?

I'm starting to think that he doesn't want it to make sense. It's like he's taking gaslighting to a new level. Instead of doubting our memory, we're doubting our sanity. Or at least we may start to. You should've heard the conversation I had with Abby a few days ago. The logical ideas we were coming up with would've gotten me locked up back home.

Did you come up with anything good, though? I mean, even if it just sounded good. He's not operating on logic, obviously. And Abby's a smart girl.

We don't know anything. I think we've just been scared of trying.

Building's just up and disappear here?

Yup. I haven't investigated the houses around town, but I was told from day one that the only safe place to sleep was the boarding house because the other buildings shift around at night. Then a couple of days ago the boarding house disappeared. I don't know that it's coming back this time though.

That about sums it up, yeah. I'm surprised no one mentioned the shifting buildings to you before...
