Martha was banging on the door and trying the lock. Bloody hell, what was happening. She didn't know what was happening. The only thing she'd ever seen even remotely like this was when the demons tried to invade the Barge at Halloween last year. And bloody hell, the body count that had happened had been rather large.

She screamed for assistance again, looking over her shoulder at the man as he wiped off some of the blood. She visibly winced a bit, and she squeezed her eyes shut, not wanting to yell again, but clearly there was something else happening with her. "Let me the hell out of here! Someone get a bloody sedative!"

This wasn't happening, it couldn't be happening. And yet it was and the journal kept flipping open and closed as if it was mocking them.

Jim pounded on the door from the other side, calling through it that he was here. He tried to pull it open, hoping someone had a sedative, wondering what the hell was going on in that.

"Morgan, Martha, we're here. We'll get you out. Just hang on."

Never fear, the other doctor is here and he's got cocktail of cough medicine and cooking wine. "Break the door, Kirk."

Deb watched House and Kirk try to break down the door, and she knew that her skills wouldn't work all that well; there was no way she'd be able to break down the door if they couldn't. What she could do, however, was head over to the room next door. Without thinking about the shapes and shadows outside, Deb threw open the window and then climbed out and into the broken one. Her arm was already bleeding, so she didn't worry about the glass. With her eyes adjusting to the dim light, she attempted to access the situation.

What was left of his conscience went silent as Deb started talking. Her scent was familiar yet not as he remembered it. Derek couldn't decipher what was different about it. His conscience spoke up when Deb continued. Could it be that you're scaring her, Dickhead? Wake up! Think about what your body is considering with these women. WAKE UP!

He couldn't clearly understand her words but they registered. The voice inside was right. Her scent was different because she was scared. He was sure of that much. Werewolf? The word suddenly hit him. Had he changed forms? He sure as hell felt like it. Yet when Derek looked down at his body, he only noticed the trails of blood rolling down ( ... )

He should have been able to break the door down. It should have been no match for someone like Jim, in the shape he was in. If Derek got to either of them... Frustrated, he turned to House.

"I'm going through the window," he said. And pointed at the drugs. "You need to be a doctor to give him that?"

"No," House shot back and tossed Kirk the homemade sedative and needle before aligning himself to help him take down Derek. He may not have the advantage of mobility but he does have a pipe to use it as a weapon.

Gripping the needle between his teeth, Jim went for the window, following the path Deb had forged. He had no other weapons, but he seldom did.

He climbed through on Derek's side, the scrape of glass against skin ignored, taking in the scene as quickly as possible to make a move before the advantage of surprise was lost.
