SS/LM Fixed formatting!

Got this art lemming from mctabby's Summary Executions, Part XII (if you haven't read them, go! now!). ruhgozler suggested it, and I was inspired. Actually, I was obsessed. I don't know how many times I've started this one and been really unhappy with the way it came out. This is the first one I've liked, so I post it in the hope that the lemming with go away ( Read more... )

Thanks!

I *love* Soul Searching; I'm thinking I could do a paper on it for my postmodernism class--it's all about the recursive self-reference! ;)

I still say Snape would use Python.[1] :-)

Damn you. Have a slight plot bunny fetus involving SS/LM, and the use of the phrase "fixed formatting". Will be cryogenically frozen until a later date, when I am not channeling Neville Longbottom.

Oh yes, the picture. I like it. It's amazing how Asian Snape looks, though. (Aside from the nose. Perhaps it's just me...)

[1] If computer science was a subject at Hogwarts, I believe the Grryfindor language of choice would be Java. The Slytherins would use Python, the Hufflepuffs would use C (not C++), and the Ravenclaws would use Scheme.

so, who'd be using LISP?

Well, Scheme is a LISP variant, so probably the Ravenclaws. Maybe the house members could be split: half using Scheme, half using LISP, but all of them having extraordinary pedantic arguments about which is better.

:) As you wish.

I know there are a number of broken links these days. (Sorry!) I've moved all my art to another server where I have more space, but I haven't gotten around to fixing them. I will eventually, as soon as I finish unpacking boxes...sigh...
