POV: Hermione's
It was a rainy day in Forks, Washington, as Ron and Harry and I stepped off the airplane, my uncle Charlie was there waiting for us, I dropped my bags and went and gave him a big hug, I noticed my Cousin, Bella, wasn’t there, that’s because she had gone to Hogwarts, see we were doing this foreign exchange program at Hogwarts and I suggested we spend a month in Forks, Washington, while Bella goes to Hogwarts, true she had no Magical powers what so ever, but they made exceptions, the real reason why I wanted to come? Well, Bella says ever since she moved to Forks, she hasn’t been the same. And plus, there have been multiple attacks here recently and I wanted to find out what or who was causing them, that’s when I saw him, the most beautiful creature on the earth, as soon as I blinked the creature was gone. The creature looked like a boy that was for sure, but if he was Human or not was a mystery.
The next day at School was better but not to the extent, as I walked into class I was surprised to see the boy I had spotted the other day.
“okay Harry you sit next to….. Mike Newton, Ron you sit next to…. Jenifer Hamilton, and Hermione you sit by….” I could see the boy looking at his book trying to hide behind it “Edward Cullen, Perfect” the teacher said we all took our seats, Edward looked at me as I sat down, I smiled at him.
“hi, I’m Hermione granger” I said friendly, he took one look at me and didn’t look at me the rest of the class period.
In the parking lot that day, Harry and Mike had become good friends, and what do I get? Edward staring at me the whole day. Just like he did when I first got off the airplane, I turned around, I sighed, there he was Staring at me from his car, I grumbled and went over to him
“What?” I said angrily “why are you staring at me? You’ve been staring at me the whole day” Edward looked away from me.
“Sorry” he muttered, I barely heard him say it, I nodded “I just…” he paused “ I just want to keep Bella’s cousin safe” I blushed as I looked up into his eyes, my god, his eyes, I was so deeply dazzled that I couldn’t hear him “What?” I asked softly
He laughed “ Do I Dazzle you?” he ran his hands through his hair, I nodded, he smiled “ just like Bella” he ran his fingers through my hair this time, I thought I might die, I smiled the cheesiest smile I could and then walked away, but then turned back and waved to him, and then I went back to my car.
“I’ll kill him” Ron muttered to Harry as I walked back, I Rolled my eyes. “Ronald Weasley you will do no such thing” I said to Ron, Ron looked back to Edward “I could take him” Ron muttered
“no you couldn’t” I said as I was getting into the car, Ron looked at me Blankly, I sighed “because he’s a Vampire” Ron Raised an eyebrow at me “ his skin was cold, more then it should be, and plus his eyes are Golden, it’s kind of Obvious”
“how do you know there not colored contacts?” Ron asked, I looked at him surprised “ I read a few books before coming to America” I started giggling
“because I’m smart, now get in the car, it’s about to Rain” I said to them, it had been cloudy the entire day, and just now it decided to rain, we went start Home after that.
