Are the ELF studio brushes soft? I want to get the entire set with the brush belt for my makeup assignments! :P

yup, they are very soft! but I think the flat top will be better if its slightly firmer. If u're unsure, maybe u can try getting one small eyeshadow brush and a bigger face brush to try first before buying the whole set? :)

hey kim, i saw a review saying that the c brush is exactly the same as the $1 elf eyeshadow brush, except that the handle is longer. if u already have the original one, maybe u can try other brushes :)

I'm so tempted to buy CS indigo gel liner (From sales post at sg_beauty)! But am still afraid it'd end up dried up flaky-like as yours did. :X

Do you think dipping the brush into the mixing medium (Glycerin + water) will help?

It sucked to get a dried- up batch ya? I guess we just have to risk it with CS gel liners... it's either good or bad for some of us.

i tried using mixing medium, its easier to apply, but still kinda flakes if u try to apply a thicker line. i think CS is inconsistent with their product quality :(
