Seeking the quaestor
Courtney is in trouble again, and as far as Thorn is concerned that's all he needs to know. He uses the pinpoint for the sake of expediency, landing himself in the woods near Courtney's home. He is carrying the crossbow, hidden beneath the hooded sweatshirt for the moment and making a bulky lump against his recently reduced frame. The blisters on his face are no better than usual, but with the weight loss and stolen snippets of power, he is back to moving with a kind of wary grace. Thorn has been to the gate once before, with the injured and dying goblins Courtney found. His errand now is of a more personal nature and he knows they won't welcome him, but he has to try.
