I'm really starting to love John in this and writing his and Ianto's interactions. I think them on a date would be fun (not to mention Jack's reaction. LOL.), so I'm glad you picked yes :).

Whee! Another chapter. I was so excited that I had to read it right away, and not save it for later, even though I was in the middle of reading another Janto story.

Anyway, I loved the concern from both Jack and John (am I going to be crying for John at the end of this?) for Ianto and his wound.

I thought the things Jack was thinking about his feelings for Gwen were awesome, and certainly went a long way in explaining why he never touched her (given his 51st century attitudes about sex). They are canon, just expanded a bit, because I have memories of Jack saying things about her having a normal life. I'm so thrilled that ou made them the explanation about why Jack said what he did when he came back from the year that never was. Excellent.

Oh, yes, a date please. I'd like to see more action between them. Give Jack something to really be jealous of, and make him realize that he has a real fight on his hands to win Ianto back.

LOL. Sorry for interrupting your other Janto story, but yay! for reading this.

So glad that you liked the concern both men had for Ianto. And I'm starting to think that this might end in tears for John (which I'm trying to think of how not to make it too sad, but the plot bunnies aren't co-operating.)

And so glad that you liked Jack's thoughts about Gwen. I never really got their whole 'love affair' (even though it was repeatedly crammed down our throats season 1 and 2), but think that Jack wanting normal was the most likely explanation (and he did always seem to make a point of telling Gwen that she should have a normal life).

LOL, most people seem to be leaning towards the date, if only to make Jack jealous and having to fight for Ianto. More up soon :D.

I'm really enjoying this story but I'm a little confused with this sentence "Jack didn’t even realize he was moving until he had already slammed Jack up against the wall, his jacket in bunches within Jack’s fist." I'm assuming that Jack slammed John?

Thanks :). Glad you could see the need for Gwack in this chapter, and I think it was important in showing Jack that he doesn't really want Gwen (and also gave John the opportunity to bait Jack later on. LOL.)

And don't worry, this will definitely end Janto, I was just interested in whether people would like to see John and Ianto go on a date (and make Jack jealous of course :)).
