We believe the Captain is insane. Personally, though, I don't believe most of this is his doing - there must be some other outside force. Either way, though .. I don't know. None of us has, but we're punished anyway. I'm sorry. All we can do is brace for it.

Hmmm, blaming his passengers for something that's clearly not our fault does imply the captain's lost his mind. But you're correct, caution is the right course of action.
