What a relief you didn't sustain any lasting damage. An inch more and it could have been bad. Your Mr. Bunny must have been scared and your parents freaked out! All's well that ends well. I hope the bad driver has nightmares.

Yep. I think everyone was somewhat destabilized by this incident.

I live a charmed life in many ways. This could have been truly awful but it wasn't. It was merely annoying and uncomfortable. I was also very lucky to have my parents and the very awesome Mr.Bunny by my side.

For what it's worth, your average foot can actually withstand having your average car drive over its toes, if the foot's fairly flat on the ground. Or at least so says my brother, who tells me this has happened to him several times. It came up because it happened to me this spring, and my foot was completely unhurt even though I could see the tire tread on my shoe. (The rest of me was fine too.)

Really?! That's a relief! Still my big worry was mostly with internal organ damage... The foot wasn't touched after all so it was theoretical panic. I was well and truly hit by that stupid mirror and it could have done far more damage than it did.
