Day-um, girl.

This was gorgeous. The entire thing had this lyrical quality to it, and the fact that she says no to Edward, that she's still changed and is first embarrassed but then gives in to her attraction to Carlisle is ironic.

And this:
members of her new family waiting for the moment when she slips up and gives in to those tempting voices (it's just an inch below the skin, no obstacle for you, tear through like tissue paper)
sent chills down my spine.

Beautiful <333

Thank you so much! ♥ I'd always expected her to say no to Edward. It made more sense to me. (Or maybe that was just wishful thinking?)

Haha - I didn't quite expect her to say no to Edward. Because that's just not Bella. Canon!Bella has practically no backbone, and that's always bothered me about her.

Since you posted this, I need to comment with a question. Do you think that she will show a bit more backbone in BD? As I have re-read them all, I think she has come a long way through the past three books in showing her gumption and I think (and hope) that BD will continue the trend.

Your comment just made me want to ask your opinion on the same.

Tuesdays are always the best days!

This was perfect on so many levels. As much as we know about Carlisle, we know very little overall (so many years to cover)... I would think there would have to be such strong feelings towards him in that type of family enviornment. This explored it really well!

I love Tuesdays ^_^

Thank you :) I feel the same way -- Carlisle's such a daunting character.

Really? Wow. Not intentional. But it's cool that you can interpret it that way!
