Well. It's been awhile since I've even remembered that I had this journal. It seems kind of silly to keep writing in it after graduating from Hogwarts, but they're bloody good for keeping in touch with everyone from school

Thank you for saying so, Professor. Or should I call you Bill?
[Private to Bill]: A drink, or just getting together, sounds like a great idea. I'd love to see anyone from Hogwarts again. Just let me know when you're free, my days are open. [/Private]
Summerby! You're in Hogsmeade now? Perhaps I'll be able to meet you for a drink if we ever get a weekend there. It's odd, not seeing you and the other former seventh years here at Hogwarts anymore.
[Private to Jon Summerby] Well, it's definitely not easy, I'll give it that much. Malfoy's quite a handful, and then there's getting the first years to stay in line. I didn't realise the Head Boy responsibilities were so involved, but I think I've got it together.
I'm also holding weekly study sessions for students who need them, though there hasn't exactly been a very good turnout for that. It's hard; I don't know how you did it for an entire year. I don't know how I'm going to last. Any helpful hints? [/Private]
[Private to Ernie MacMillian] Malfoy is Malfoy; some things will never change. And by Christmas the first years will have gotten the hang of things. The only way to do it is to go day by day, take things as they come, one challenge at a time. I'm sure you can handle it, Ernie -- if anyone's ready for this sort of responsibility, it's you.
If you ever need help with a situation in particular, just let me know. I'm always willing to give advice if needed, you know that. [/Private]
Heya Summerby, welcome to the land of the living and all that! Should you feel the need to have a chat with someone as ancient as yourself do drop me an owl. Always nice to see another alumnus.
I believe Adrian is visiting sometime soon as well, when we get a date arranged I'll send it and our address your way. I'm staying with Cho Chang right now so it'll be one fine party.
Well, I didn't see you owling me either, so I guess we're even. You make it sound like you wanted to hear from me.
I didn't think you thought about me at all, to be honest. Do you think I haven't thought about you? Do you actually think I'd forget? Please tell me you had as much faith in me as I try to have in you.
You walked away from me too. Don't be foolish enough to think that it didn't hurt me as much as it didn't hurt you.
I worried like hell about you. I could still feel it, throbbing in my chest, even if you weren't wearing the pendant. I knew how bad he was hurting you, and it killed me that I couldn't go to you. But when you came back you went straight to Malfoy and you'd never even let me get close. Come to think of it, you're probably still with Malfoy, and I have no idea why you're bothering with me.

Oh, and Ernie -- I heard you made Head Boy this year, and congratulations are definitely in order. How's the year been going so far?

You're the one that walked away from me. You left me alone with my father.
He pratically broke me, and you were gone. I couldn't even wear your stupid necklace, for fear of hurting you. I can't believe you.
