Who: Axel and Naminé Lusanct What: A second meeting in which first impressions are shattered Where: Rabanastre Apartment Complex When: Weekend morning Warnings: None. ( It had to happen sometime. )
Axel was on his way back to his apartment from work, smelling faintly of chemical's. The class had been rowdy. And loud. Mostly obnoxious in then end, though. He had been forced to hand over a detention slip, something he never liked to do to a fellow adventureist. The kid hand not listen to him, though, and as a result would be stuck in an eye patch for a few weeks until everything was flushed out. You did not mess with things you did not know how to handle. Axel figured it was a good lesson.
He was so lost in his thoughts that he never even noticed when the young blonde came into his sight until she was practically on top of him. He took a double take, and grinned, forgetting the kid with the eye patch. This was unexpected. But interesting. He looked down at her.
"I didn't think you'd come to see me here." Axel's gaze zeroed in on the basket at her arm. "And you brought me a present. How sweet!"
He had come into her line of vision so unexpectedly that she gave a little squeak of surprise, almost fumbling the basket. Cripes, she had forgotten Axel was living here too! A barrage of warning sirens set off in her head, and she bit her lower lip nervously.
But when she heard his words, something clicked in her subconscious mind. If she was going to try to be independent, she needed to face her own problems. Never mind that she was alone, and that Axel looked considerably stronger. But that comment was particularly grating to her ears. He...had some nerve to say she...she...
Gritting her teeth, she mustered up courage and gripped the basket tighter, summoning the most venomous look she that could.
"They're not for you. Sorry, but don't get any ideas." she answered, trying to keep her voice steady. "And I'd stop being an arrogant trouble-maker if I were you."
Wait. Did she really just said that? Gathering her wits, she stared back determinedly, hoping he'd back off.
Oh God, he wasn't backing off, was he? She flinched slightly, especially when he leaned down to meet her gaze. Her own blue eyes stared back, not giving the green ones before her the satisfaction of giving in.
"Well maybe you should start taking it. It might be good for you." she said, hand gripping the basket tighter just to keep her sanity safe.

"Feisty now, are we?" He leaned down, and stared her in the eyes. "Besides, I don't take advice very well."
