Challenge 3--Round 1--Art by Robbuz
All right, all right! Let's ring the starting bell, wave the green flag, shoot the gun, or just yell "START!". That's right, Challenge Three has officially kicked off! I just want to take the time to welcome our newbies and hug our veterans. Here's to another 10 rounds of fun, excitement, and bonding.
Now, let's have some fun, shall we? As you should all know by now, this entire challenge is dedicated to Twilight Fan Art. All the approved list of artists can be found at the RESOURCES post. Depending on our winners' preferences, you may or may not get to use them all. But they are all wonderful, and they all were gracious enough to lend their work. So, please remember to credit them when you post your icons elsewhere.
I'm going to start the challenge off easy with an artist challenge. I think this will allow everyone to get familiar with working with fan art without having to worry about another element to the round, like a theme or style restriction. We'll add those in very soon, though. So this week, is dedicated to the art of Robbuz. She has made tons and tons and TONS of amazingly cute and pretty Twilight art. Lots of cute anime inspired work and her coloring is very vibrant.
This first post is going to be a bit longer since we're going to rehash some things for our new participants. Please skim through it--I consider it all relevant. Don't hesitate to ask me questions--I rarely bite.
General Rules:
1. All icons must be submitted to this post by Sunday, October 26, at 11:59PM US CENTRAL STANDARD TIME. For our international participants who need help converting, try here. Remember--Breaking Dawn comes out in the US this Saturday, so if you plan on hiding in a hole and reading it, get your entries in before then!
2. You may submit up to FIVE (5) icons total. Submit your icons as a comment to this post, as an img src and a url; all icons must meet LJ standards. Please keep you submitted icon under one post--you will be able to edit your post as many times as you want up until the closing time.
3. All textures, brushes, blending, animation, and stock is allowed.
4. Do not post your entries anywhere until after the voting is over and the results have been announced. Do not submit a previously made icon. Do not submit an icon you yourself haven't made. Breaking any of these rules will get you disqualified.
5. Also, please post any questions concerning this round as a comment to this post. Comments are screened.

2. For this round, you may choose any piece(s) that you find inspiration from.
3. For each icon you make, it must feature a different and unique piece of her art. In other words, no two icons can be derived from the same piece.
4. Permission to use these pieces was given to me on behalf of Twiconathon icon makers by the artist herself FOR THIS CHALLENGE ONLY. If you are as enraptured as I am and want to create more fanart or icon derived from her work, please contact Robbuz directly and ask her yourself. She's very lovely and friendly, there's no need to fear her. :)
5. If icons are used for future use and when posted elsewhere, please remember to credit Robbuz for using her work as a base. You as icon makers know how much credit means to the artist--she puts a lot of time and hard work creating these works just as you do.
