Ok, I'm seriously wondering where is everybody? Voting turnout is amazingly low once again, so I'm extending the voting period until 11:59 pm Friday. I hate to do this since I know people like to get their scores before they submit for a new round, but it's embarrassingly low again this week.

I figured that played a part, but both voting and entries were down from last week to the point of non existence so I was a little worried.

Lol. Yeah, it seems most people are becoming that way now that school has started and what not. But I've never just had one entry submitted in half a week's time, so I was on full alert.

And voting has been really low as well. Usually we'll still get a normal vote count by Wednesday so I know people are still alive.

And because of school, I usually only have time to make icons during the weekends. I'll be a little late, but I'll definitely enter. :)

But to answer some of your other questions, I'll admit I sort of lost interest in the fandom. I wasn't all that into it in the first place, so this isn't entirely a surprise.

But even with the lack of interest in the fandom, I'll still participate here. Because I just love it here. ♥

Aw, you are the greatest.

Most of you are weekenders, so I don't usually worry. But since the vote count has dropped significantly, I thought maybe everybody left without saying goodbye. Usually we'll get around 20 votes so I know people are alive, but in the past weeks I've struggled to get anywhere near 10.

I also figured it might be a fandom thing. It's hard to sustain interest when a series is done, and the last book was so controversial. And Stephenie Meyer is upsetting people, yada yada yada so I know a lot of people are being turned off by the fandom. BD annoyed me enough to diminish the luster. After this challenge is over, though, I'll launch the other two iconathons I have ready and waiting, though, so it will help me from being a gussy and nagging mod.

And I'll add your promo points into this week's total! How is it going over at kstewicontest? Have things picked up there? I really need to start iconing again, but since I lost all my photoshop textures and brushes when my hard drive died, I got too frustrated to go find them

Things are kinda slow over at kstewicontest. But that's not exactly unusual. We have a really small crowd there.

Votes are hard to come by for us too. I've been asking for help with voting over at mod_stillness for almost every week now. We get maybe 5 to 6 more votes after posting there. While it does help speed things up a lot when you ask for help, it's still kinda sad when the actual members don't participate, you know?
